ILLEGAL ETHANOL BROKEN IN KABUL, OFFICIALS SAY

Thousands of bottles of ethanol were ruined in Kabul this week, in what authorities described as the product of the crackdown on bootleg bootlegging and sales.

The bottles were confiscated over the two-year duration in and around the Afghan capital, according to Kabul military and rapist investigations arch Mohammad Zahir.

They were taken scarcely to one side from “Afghan sources and not foreigners,” he said.

The unlawful equipment were being stored by Afghan etiquette officials, who burnt the bottles Wednesday after reception authorisation from the city’s profession general’s office, he added.

Alcohol is often criminialized in Afghanistan, and its sales and function deliberate the rapist offense for the country’s

Muslims, who consecrate rounded off 99% of the population.

Certain areas that support to foreigners, though, are available to sell it.

Zahir said that it was in these areas — often tellurian hotels — that internal sellers had come into receive of the alcohol.
